Do SpeakTypography |
Do Speak is a series of typographic collages, created for the book of modern poetry, coming out in September. The series is meant to present an approach of the modern avant-garde poetry, focusing on the text as a body of language, in which language is seen as a living organic structure. As the poems themselves have a non-linear structure and intuitive/subconscious methods of telling a story, the illustrations present the assimetric decomposition of type as a mean of communication. |
The book includes more than 150 poems by various modern authors, with 15 of them illustrated with a typographic collage. Each illustration is individual and has the whole poem's text placed into the graphics. |
